This dementia-specific activity garden and living space was themed in the 1950s. An Australian first, this design initiative was created to provide a space of comfort and positive memory associations for baby-boomer residents with dementia. Previously, the dementia gardens were themed towards the preceding generation, which would did provide a supportive and comfortable environment for its baby-boomer residents.
